Tickets, Booking And Prices

Short answers to the questions readers ask most about Verona, from how booking works and what tours cost to the small print behind every from-price shown on this site.

How This Site Handles Bookings

When you book through a link here, the operator or booking platform pays this site a commission, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay matches the live booking page. Commission never decides which tours appear: listings are picked for fit with Verona, from Arena walking tours to Valpolicella tastings and days out on Lake Garda.

Tickets, Tours And What You Pay

The roster holds 43 bookable tours across nine categories: walking tours, bike rides, wine and food tours, cooking classes, Arena and city tickets, Lake Garda trips and Madonna della Corona excursions, plus one free walk the guide is tipped for at the end. Published from-prices run from nothing up to $176 per person. Each from-price is per guest and shown in the currency the listing itself displays, never converted, since a converted number is not a verified number. Check the live booking page for current prices, schedules and meeting points.

How Booking Works Here

The biggest variable is the Arena Opera Festival, which runs from 5 June to 12 September in 2026. On performance nights the whole Piazza Bra area shifts: crowds arrive early, restaurants fill, and the stone steps glow late. Summer brings the year's highest daytime heat, autumn swaps it for rain, and winter can hang fog over the river for days. Tours keep running in every season, but booking ahead matters most between June and September, when opera visitors and heat both peak. If your dates overlap the festival, lock in Arena-area activities early.

Are There Free Things To Do In Verona

Plenty. Ponte Pietra, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Porta Borsari and Piazza Bra cost nothing to wander. The Arena's daytime visit and Juliet's courtyard are ticketed, though a tip-based free walking tour covers the center in about 2 hours.
